WHEREAS, Mrs. Martha A. Battle, with Muscogee Manor, retired on May 31, 2004;

WHEREAS, Mrs. Battle has been with Muscogee Manor since April 1, 1971.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful

service of

MRS. MARTHA A. BATTLE



who has served with Muscogee Manor for 33 years. We wish for her happiness and

contentment in her retirement.

WHEREAS, Mr. Daniel W. Covington, with the Public Services Department, retired

on June 30, 2004;

WHEREAS, Mr. Covington has been with the Public Services Department since June

28, 1989.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful

service of

MR. DANIEL W. COVINGTON



who has served with the Public Services Department for 15 years. We wish for

him happiness and contentment in his retirement.

WHEREAS, Mr. Harold Randall, former employee with the Columbus Fire Department,

died on January 24, 2004;

WHEREAS, Mr. Randall retired on June 30, 1972 after serving 31 years with the

Columbus Fire Department.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Harold Randall our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. Randall was an outstanding employee of the Columbus

Fire Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Trade Center, died on March 26, 2004;

WHEREAS, Mr. Roberts retired on January 31, 1999 after serving 13 years with

the Convention & Trade Center.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Jack G. Roberts our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. Roberts was an outstanding employee of the Columbus

We hereby convey to the family of Mrs. Edna P. Smith our sincere condolences
