An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 6800 Macon Road from LMI (Light Manufacturing / Industrial) District

to SFR4 (Single Family Residential 4) and GC (General Commercial) Districts.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the

same is hereby amended by changing the following described property from LMI

(Light Manufacturing / Industrial) District to GC (General Commercial) District:



All that tract or parcel of land lying in and being Part of Land Lots 59 and

60, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and being more

particularly described as follows:



Commence at and iron stake marking the northerly end of a miter which forms the

intersection of the southerly line of Macon Road and the easterly line of

Transport Boulevard; thence along a tie line North 58 degrees 15 minutes 44

seconds East a distance of 818.24 feet to an iron stake on the southerly line

of Macon Road and the point of beginning; (the next six calls will be along the

southerly line of Macon Road); thence North 58 degrees 27 minutes 49 seconds

East a distance of 175.72 feet to an iron stake; thence North 83 degrees 01

minutes 51 seconds East a distance of 25.25 feet to an iron stake; thence North

58 degrees 27 minutes 49 seconds East a distance of 55.77 feet to an iron

stake; thence North 52 degrees 22 minutes 31 seconds East a distance of 98.98

feet to an iron stake; thence North 58 degrees 27 minutes 49 seconds East a

distance of 51.43 feet to an iron stake; thence along the arc of a

counterclockwise curve (said arc having a radius of 9,887.77 feet and being

subtended by a 491.54 foot chord bearing North 56 degrees 59 minutes 49 seconds

East)an arc distance of 491.59 feet to an iron stake; thence leaving Macon Road

South 07 degrees 47 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 456.47 feet to an
