A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Mr. Roger Buterbaugh has recently been elected as Director of the

Georgia State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management;



WHEREAS, as Director, he will manage the affairs of the Council and participate

as Georgia?s representative on the SHRM Regional Council;



WHEREAS, Mr. Buterbaugh also serves as Foundation Chair for the Georgia

State Council of Society for Human Resource Management;



Whereas, he graduated from Columbus College in 1976 with a BA in

Psychology and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Adjutant General?s

Corps and served in the U.S. Army for the next 20 years, and he retired as a

Lieutenant Colonel in 1996;



Whereas, he currently is Director of Human Resources for Human

Performance and Rehabilitation Centers, Inc., a physical and occupational

therapy provider with facilities in three states and with 195 employees;



Whereas, he also volunteers as a member of the Board of Directors, TIC

Federal Credit Union, the Columbus, Georgia Personnel Review Board and served

as second vice-president of the Alumni Board of Columbus State University;



WHEREAS, Mr. Buterbaugh?s accomplishments are worthy of special recognition by

this Council.





NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We commend and congratulate Mr. Roger Buterbaugh upon his election as Director

of the Georgia State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management and

we wish him every success in the future. Let a copy of this resolution be

forwarded to the Mr. Roger Buterbaugh.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the

15th day of November, 2005, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
