MINUTES # 14-04



The Columbus, Georgia, Board of Tax Assessors met Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at

2:00PM with Chairman Lawton Grantham, Assessors Richard Stallings, Ann

Grantham, William Braxton and Pat Hunter present. Also present was Chief

Appraiser Martin J. Land.



Assessor William Braxton made a motion to approve Minutes # 13-04, Assessor Ann

Grantham second the motion, motion carried unanimously.



The following VA letters of application for VA exemption were reviewed and

approved:



Crowell 066 014 001 Approved.



Met with Commercial Division Chief Linda King regarding applications for

non-taxability for Parcel Ids 018 020 001, 018 020 002 and 019 002 001. The

Board approved tax exempt status of Parcel IDs 018 020 001, 018 020 002 and

018 020 006 being combined into an existing non-taxable parcel. The Board also

approved non-taxability for Parcel ID 019 002 001 for 2004.



Met with Personal Property Division Chief Oliver Juhan, reviewed and approved

the following:



Freeport Applications: 12 (Approved)
