An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 5977 Whitesville Road from M-1 (Light Manufacturing) District to C-3

(General Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from M-1 (Light

Manufacturing) District to C-3 (General Commercial) District:



Commence at an iron pin which marks the intersection of the southwestern

right-of-way line of Whitesville Road and the northern right-of-way line of the

Norfolk-Southern Railroad right-of-way which iron pin marks the POINT OF

BEGINNING; from said POINT OF BEGINNING, thence run along the northwestern

right-of-way line of the said Norfolk-Southern Railroad right-of-way South 28

degrees 57 minutes 17 seconds West for a distance of 409.93 feet to an iron

pin; thence continue to run along the northwestern right-of-way line of said

Norfolk-Southern Railroad right-of-way North 27 degrees 32 minutes 02 seconds

West for a distance of 10.57 feet to an iron pin; thence continue to run along

the northwestern right-of-way line of said Norfolk-Southern Railroad

right-of-way South 28 degrees 40 minutes 00 seconds West for a distance of

65.00 feet to an iron pin; thence, leaving the northwestern right-of-way line

of said Norfolk-Southern Railroad right-of-way, run North 16 degrees 02 minutes

00 seconds West for a distance of 170.00 feet to an iron pin; thence run North

32 degrees 12 minutes 31 seconds West for a distance of 98.78 feet to an iron

pin; thence run North 37 degrees 38 minutes 00 seconds West for a distance of

210.00 feet to an iron pin; thence run North 62 degrees 28 minutes 00 seconds

East for a distance of 65.00 feet to an iron pin; thence run North 27 degrees

32 minutes 00 seconds West for a distance of 233.25 feet to an iron pin; thence

run North 36 degrees 08 minutes 41 seconds East for a distance of 78.94 feet to

an iron pin; thence run North 62 degrees 28 minutes 00 seconds East for a

distance of 30.21 feet to an iron pin; thence run North 83 degrees 42 minutes

25 seconds East for a distance of 252.64 feet to an iron pin located on

southwestern right-of-way line of Whitesville Road; thence run along the

southwestern right-of-way line of Whitesville Road South 27 degrees 54 minutes

25 seconds East for a distance of 40.03 feet to an iron pin; thence continue to

run along the southwestern right-of-way line of Whitesville Road North 88

degrees 47 minutes 08 seconds East for a distance of 3.68 feet to an iron pin;

thence continue to run along the southwestern right-of-way line of Whitesville

Road South 27 degrees 49 minutes 15 seconds East for a distance of 354.94 feet

to the iron pin located on the northwestern right-of-way line of the

Norfolk-Southern right-of-way which marks the POINT OF BEGINNING.
