MINUTES # 44-04



The Columbus, Georgia, Board of Tax Assessors met Wednesday, November 10, 2004,

at 2:00PM with Chairman Lawton Grantham, Assessors Richard Stallings, William

Braxton and Pat Hunter present. Also present was Chief Appraiser Martin J.

Land. Assessor Ann Grantham was absent.



Assessor Richard Stallings made a motion to approve Minutes # 43-04, Assessor

William Braxton seconded the motion, motion carried unanimously.



The Board approved assessment corrections for real estate.



The Board approved conservation use values for parcel ID 137 001 004C; 137 001

004BH and 103 001 017A for 2004.



Met with Mr. Law representing Pinehurst Baptist Church, Inc. regarding a

request for non-taxability for property located at 120 Prince Ave (Parcel ID

088 056 030). Mr. Law said the church is using the building for storage,

storing desks and tables for the church and the school. He said the property

was used on January 1, 2004. The Board requested a field review.
