Suber) (Both the Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division

(2) 1st Reading - Rezoning approximately 14.572 acres of property located at

8201 Midland Road and 8111 Old Pope Road from an A-1 District to an R-1

District. (54-D-01-Luquire) (Councilor Smith) (Both the Planning Advisory

Commission and the Planning Division recommend denial.) (Note: This ordinance

is listed again as 1st Reading for possible amendment by Council.)



(3) 1st Reading ? Rezoning approximately 0.56 acres of property located at 3804

(6) 1st Reading ? Rezoning approximately 1.48 acres of property located at 4042

Macon Road and the southwest portion of 4046 Macon Road from an R-1A District

the Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division recommend

conditional approval.)



(7) 1st Reading ? Rezoning approximately 0.44 acres of property located at 2705

(8) 2nd Reading ? Rezoning approximately 1.62 acres of property located at the

southwest end of Amber Vista Court from an R-3A District to an R-4 District.

(9) 2nd Reading ? Rezoning approximately 0.81 acres of property, in various

portions, surrounding the Fortson Road-Bascom Road intersection realignment

from an R-1 District, a C-2 District and a C-3 District to a C-2 District and a

C-3 District. (57-A-01-Woodruff) (Councilor Allen) (Both the Planning Advisory

Commission and the Planning Division recommend approval.)



(10) 2nd Reading ? Rezoning approximately 27.141 acres of property located on

the east side of Schomburg Road, approximately 2,100 feet south of J. R. Allen

Parkway from an R-2 District to an R-4 District. (58-CA-01-Woodruff)

(Councilor Allen) (The Planning Advisory Commission recommends approval and the

Planning Division recommends conditional approval.)



(11) 1st Reading ? Regulating vehicular traffic in Columbus, Georgia by

establishing an eight hour parking time limit along the north curb of 12th

Street from the east curb of 5th Avenue to the west curb of 6th Avenue;

authorizing the installation of official traffic control signs indicating said

parking restriction and repealing any conflicting ordinances. (Mayor Pro-Tem

Rodgers)



(12) 1st Reading ? Amending Ordinance No. 99-18 by providing that under Article

3-104(1), "Purchasing Limits" and Article 3-105(1), "Credit/Procurement Card"

Paragraph E, Restrictions, the Department of Information Technology is

authorized to purchase computer software and computer hardware using the

credit/procurement card; and authorizing all cardholders to make purchases via

the internet and via the telephone. (Budget Review Chairperson Turner Pugh)



(13) 1st Reading ? Amending Section 8-85 of the Columbus Code so as to

authorize the City Manager to waive demolition liens on property identified to

be transferred to the Land Bank Authority for disposition to an organization

contemplated under O.C.G.A. Sec. 48-4-64; and for other purposes. (Mayor

Pro-Tem Rodgers)

(14) Commending and congratulating the Baker Middle School Lions football

players, coaches and principal upon their victory in the 2001 Middle School

Football Championship on November 15, 2001 at Memorial Stadium. (Councilor

(15) Conveying condolences to the family of Mr. Josiah Martin "Joe" Flournoy

who passed away on November 25, 2001. (Columbus Council)
