October 31, 2003;
WHEREAS, Mr. Day has been with the Columbus Police Department since February
21, 1978;

This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful
service of
MR. JOHN G. DAY
who has served with the Columbus Police Department for over 25 years. We wish
for him happiness and contentment in his retirement.
