I. ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY:



Authorization is requested for the acquisition of property at Amber

Drive/Georgetown Drive; Whitesville Road/Veterans Parkway (right turn

lane-north); River Road/54th Street (right turn lane-north); Blackmon Road

(turn lane at school); in conjunction with the 1999 SPLOST Road Projects. An

agenda report and resolution are included.



II. THE GEORGIA WILDLIFE RECREATIONAL GRANT PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested to participate in the Georgia Greenspace

Wildlife Recreational Program administered through the Georgia Department of

Natural Resources Wildlife Division. An agenda report and resolution are

included.



III. GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES - SCRAP TIRE MANAGEMENT GRANT



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved

accept grant funds from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources,

Environmental Protection Division Scrap Tire Management Program. An agenda

report and resolution are included.



IV. TRANSFER OF PROPERTY:



Authorization is requested to transfer property located in the Muscogee

Technology Park to the State of Georgia, Department of Juvenile Justice for the

development of a Youth Development Campus. An agenda report, map and

resolution are included.



V. ACCEPTANCE OF PROPERTY:



Authorization is requested to accept the donation of approximately

2.433 +/- acres of property adjacent to Flat Rock Park. An agenda report, map

and resolution are attached.

VI. RETIRED AND SENIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (RSVP):



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved

accept federal funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service

to continue The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. An agenda report and

resolution are included.



VII. OFFICE OF SCHOOL READINESS SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested to accept funds from the Office of School

Readiness, Georgia Department of Education to administer the summer lunch

program and snacks for fiscal and school year 2002-2003. An agenda report

and resolution are included.

Scope of Bid

Provide water treatment chemicals to be used in the City's swimming pools for

Parks and Recreation on an "as needed basis". The contract period will be for

one year with the option to renew for two additional twelve-month periods.

Scope of Bid

Provide erosion control at various watershed lakes. The contract period will

be for three (3) years with the option to renew for two (2) additional

twelve-month periods.

1. Red Light Enforcement System (Annual Contract) - RFP No. 02-0024

Scope of RFP

Furnish, install, implement and maintain an automated Red Light Enforcement

System for the City of Columbus, Georgia. The term of the contract shall be

for one year, for one (1) location, with the option to renew for four (4)

additional twelve month periods. Contract renewal will be contingent upon the

mutual agreement of the City and the contractor. The City reserves the right

to add new locations to the awarded contract in the future based on terms and

conditions of a contract with the successful vendor.
