An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 1105 and 1109 19th Street, from R-3A (Medium Density Residential)

District to C-3 (General Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-3A (Medium Density

Residential) District to C-3 (General Commercial) District:



BEGINNING on the northern line of 19th Street at an iron stake located 50 feet

easterly of the northeast corner of the intersection of said 19th Street and

11th Avenue, said beginning point being also the southwest corner of said Lot

10, and from said beginning point running northerly 142.5 feet to another iron

stake located at the northwest corner of said Lot 10 and on the southern line

of an alleyway; thence running easterly, along the southern line of said

alleyway, 48.5 feet to another iron stake; thence running southerly 142.5 feet

to another iron stake located on the northern line of 19th Street; and thence

running westerly, along the northern line of 19th Street, 48.5 feet to the

beginning point.



And



BEGINNING at an iron stake located on the north margin of 19th Street, 98.5

feet east of the northeast corner of the intersection of 19th Street and 11th

Avenue; thence north a distance of 142.5 feet to an iron stake; thence east a

distance of 48.5 feet to an iron stake; thence south a distance of 142.5 feet

to an iron stake on the north margin of 19th Street; thence west and along the

north margin of 19th Street, a distance of 48.5 feet to the point of beginning.





The above-described property is being rezoned with the following conditions:



1. All lighting shall be directed internally using deflector shields.

2. No external trash dumpsters / compactors shall be located along the property

lines bordered by residential zoning districts.
