The total number of stumps to be removed yearly will continue at the same rate

with an approximate 2% increase. This number will level off and begin a slight

decrease before leveling off again at what I am projecting to be the FY 03

figure at approximately 991 stumps a year.



The urban forest consists of trees at varying ages and conditions. This fact

alone will require stump removal to continually remain an operational necessity.
