A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Ashley Nealy of Hardaway High School was recently selected as an

All-State cheerleader at the Georgia Cheerleading Coaches? Association tryouts

held at Columbus State University on August 27, 2005;



WHEREAS, Ashley competed against over ninety other senior cheerleaders

from across Georgia who were selected based upon their scholarship applications;



WHEREAS, forty cheerleaders were selected as finalists at Columbus State

University and each was judged in an interview with questions drawn from their

scholarship applications and each performed a two-minute routine showcasing

their cheering skills;



WHEREAS, the All-State cheerleading squad will be presented at the conclusion

of the GHSA Cheerleading State Championship to be held in Columbus, Georgia on

December 10, 2005;



WHEREAS, Ashley?s accomplishments are worthy of special recognition by this

Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Ashley Nealy of Hardaway High School upon

her selection as an All-State cheerleader by the Georgia Cheerleading Coaches?

Association. Columbus is truly proud of Ashley and we wish her every success at

the GHSA Cheerleading State championship in December. Let a copy of this

resolution be forwarded to Ashley Nealy.
