A RESOLUTION



No.



WHEREAS, Bill Chester, Athletic Division Manager for the Columbus Parks and

Recreation Department, has been inducted into the Georgia Amateur Softball

Association Hall of Fame by the Georgia ASA, Inc.;



WHEREAS, Mr. Chester was one of only twelve persons inducted into the Georgia

Amateur Softball Association Hall of Fame;



WHEREAS, he acted as the Implementation Manager to the softball competition of

the XXVI Olympiad;



WHEREAS, Mr. Chester has acted as the District 3 Commissioner for softball

affairs in Columbus and has acted in the best interest of the softball

community in excess of 25 years as a member of the Parks and Recreation

Department.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We commend and congratulate Mr. Bill Chester upon his induction into the

Georgia Amateur Softball Association Hall of Fame. Let a copy of this

resolution be forwarded to Mr. Bill Chester.
