Cancelling the November 11, 2003 Council Meeting in observance of

Veterans Day.



WHEREAS, November 11, 2003 has been designated as a holiday for City Government

employees in observance of Veterans Day, and the normal business of the City

Government would not be adversely affected if a Council Meeting is not

conducted on this day.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



That the regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia scheduled for

November 11, 2003 is hereby cancelled.



Introduced and read at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia

held on the 7th day of October 2003 and adopted at said meeting by the

affirmative vote of members of said Council.
