NO.

WHEREAS, Mr. Larry M. Carter, with the Columbus Police Department, retired on

December 31, 2002;

WHEREAS, Mr. Carter has been with the Columbus Police Department since 1970.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the

diligent and faithful service of

MR. LARRY M. CARTER

who has served with the Columbus Police Department for over 31 years. We wish

for him happiness and contentment in his retirement.
