An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 5019 Armour Road from R-2 (Low Density Residential) District to A-O

(Apartment-Office) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-2 (Low Density

Residential) District to A-O (Apartment-Office) District:



All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the State of

Georgia, County of Muscogee, and city of Columbus, and being known and

designated as all of Lot Numbered Three (3), in Block Lettered ?B? of

WOHLWENDER HILLS, as shown on a map or plat of said Subdivision recorded in

Plat Book 11, Folio 140, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of

Muscogee County, Georgia.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following conditions:



1. All lighting shall be deflected internally using deflector shields.

2. Any external trash dumpsters / compactors shall be visually obstructed by a

structure that is aesthetically similar to the proposed development.

3. Screening for air conditioners, refrigeration units, and heat pumps shall be

required for all development on the property.
