A meeting of the Uptown Fa?ade Board was held in the Planning Division

Conference Room, Government Center Annex Building, August 21, 2003; 4:00 p.m.



Members Present: Peter Bowden Brown Nicholson

CALL TO ORDER:



Meeting was called to order by Peter Bowden, Chairman. A quorum was present.

The purpose of the meeting was to review the application for 1010-1032 Front

Avenue.



Case Review::

1010-1032 Front Avenue Neil Clark presented an application for The

W. C. Bradley

Company/The City of

Columbus. The request was to demolish

3 structures to be

replaced with a surface parking lot. The

parking area is needed to

facilitate the Broadway Streetscape

plan. The Board reviewed

and discussed the application. The

Board?s discussion

focused on the concern of the demolition of

the historic structures.

A motion was made by Brown

Nicholson to approve the

demolition of the structures to be

replaced with a surfaced

parking lot as presented. Pat Love

seconded the motion. The

motion passed by vote of 6 For and

1 Against. Neil Clark

abstained from voting.
