I. RIGHT OF ENTRY - FORT BENNING:
Authorization is requested to execute a deed donating to the Federal
Government an easement on city property consisting of 1.12 acres (10 ft. wide
x 5280 ft. in length) around Fort Benning for construction of a fence to enable
Force Protection Security to access control points in and around the Fort
Benning Military Installation. An agenda report, map and resolution are
attached.
II. HOMELAND SECURITY OVERTIME GRANT:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept a
grant from the United States Department of Justice under the Homeland Security
Overtime Grant Program to pay overtime cost for law enforcement personnel for
Homeland Security purposes. An agenda report and resolution are attached.
III. PURCHASES:

A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit is scheduled for 9:00 AM on
Tuesday, June 17, 2003. Vendors shall convene at the steps of the Riverwalk on
Front Avenue, Columbus, GA.

Scope of Bid
Provide barricades, traffic cones, drums safety flags, etc. to the Public
Services Department. The items will be purchased on an ?as needed? basis. The
contract term will be for one (1) year, with the option to renew for two (2)
additional twelve-month periods.

Scope of Bid
Provide heating and refrigeration supplies on an ?as needed basis? to
be picked up and delivered to Columbus Consolidated Government. The term of
the contract shall be for one (1) year period, with the option to renew for two
(2) additional twelve-month periods, if agreeable to both parties.
