NO.
WHEREAS, on March 15, 2002, local State Farm Insurance agents presented a 911
simulator to the Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department;
WHEREAS, the new 911 simulator is a teaching tool used with elementary school
children in fire safety programs and it prompts the student caller with
questions to gather more information about an emergency;
WHEREAS, this valuable fire safety education training aid represents one of
many contributions made by the State Farm Insurance family to the Consolidated
Government for the benefit of Columbus citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby express our deep appreciation to local State Farm Insurance
agents Earl Barbaree, James Gant, Rick Hill, Jim Lovern, Clint Osbon, Rick
Turner, Robert Willis, Jeff Krietemeyer, Jimmy Watts, Marvin Foster, Becky
Goldsmith, Carolyn Hugley, Tom Martin, Greg Taylor, Connie Wilkes, John Gay,
Sheri Snoddy, and Steve Sumner for their generous contribution of a 911
simulator to the Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services
Department. Let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to each of
these local State Farm Insurance agents.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held on
the 9th day of April, 2002, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
of ten members of said Council.
