I. PURCHASE OF PROPERTY FROM WYNDHAM HOTEL:



Authorization is requested to purchase property from the Wyndham Hotel,

formerly the Columbus Hilton, located at 800 Front Avenue, which is currently

the parking lot on the south side of the hotel. The property will be used to

construct an approximate 300 car parking garage. An agenda report and

resolution are included.







II. BIBB CITY STORM WATER IMPROVEMENTS:



Authorization is requested to execute an agreement for engineering services

with Jordan, Jones and Goulding (JJG) for storm water improvements in Bibb

City. An agenda report and resolution are included.







III. SURPLUS PROPERTY - REMNANT ADJACENT TO OLYMPIC HEALTH SPA:



Authorization is requested to declare 29,900.75 sq ft. located between Wynnton

Road and 13th Street as surplus and authorize the sell of said property to the

adjacent property owner. An agenda report, resolution and map are included.

IV. DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS GRANT - QUALITY GROWTH PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept a

$40,000 Quality Growth Grant from the Department of Community Affairs. An

agenda report and resolution are included.







V. PURCHASES:

1. Riverwalk - Bibb City to City Mills, Phase II ? Bid No. 03-0024

Scope of Bid

Provide services for the construction of a proposed Riverwalk Extension between

32nd Street north along the Chattahoochee River to a point near 38th Street.

The work primarily involves clearing, grubbing, grading, installation of a four

hundred foot (400') prefabricated steel bridge and construction of a

twelve-foot (12') wide asphalt pathway at-grade, as depicted on the drawings.

The work also includes installation of small buildings associated with parking

for an overlook area in the vicinity of 38th Street.



2. Fencing Materials (Annual Contract) ? Bid No. 03-0028

Scope of Bid

Provide chain link fences, barbed wire, corner posts and other fencing

materials to Public Services and Park Services on an ?as needed? basis. The

contract term will be for one year, with the option to renew for two (2)

additional twelve-month periods.
