Appointments

Attached is the list of Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Appointments for
the 2003-2004 school year. The Mayor, City Councilors and MCSB Members must
make one appointment each, in addition to the appointments on the attached
list.
I am requesting that all appointments be made by Tuesday August 5,
2003. This will allow time to properly notify your appointee and request
attendance at the August 25, 2003 YAC Orientation Meeting.

Congratulations, you have been selected for appointment to the Youth Advisory
Council (YAC) for Columbus, Georgia for the 2003/2004 school year. This will
be a rewarding experience as you become actively involved in policy issues,
youth issues, and the development of positive solutions to these issues. Our
Mission is to broaden the scope of youth leadership in Columbus. Your
involvement will help to achieve this Mission.
