COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 21, 2003

TO THE CITY MANAGER:

RURAL DIRT ROADWAYS:

Have the staff to come back to the Council and do a presentation regarding

the cost of scrapping the roads and maybe look at having the neighbors to pay

for the cost of scrapping the roads and we provide the equipment. Bring back

several different proposals in this regard. (Request of Councilor Allen)

MOON ROAD:

Have the staff to provide some ideas as to what can be done to help to try

to alleviate some of the potential problems of getting onto Moon from Hunters

Point and Springlake, especially during peak traffic times. (Request of

Councilor Henderson)

Have the staff to look at putting a sign up detouring those big trucks

traveling down Moon Road. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

Have the staff to work with the Department of Transportation to possibly

hold a meeting with DOT staff, which would allow the citizens to be able to ask

questions, or have the City to hold this meeting. (Request of Councilor Allen)
