Quit Claim Deed


The State of Georgia, Muscogee County:

Know all men by these presents, That in consideration of the sum of one and no/100 dollars to us in hand paid by R. Murray Jones the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, we do remise, release, quit claim and convey to the said R. Murray Jones all our right, title, interest and claim, in or to the following described land, to-wit: ABANDONMENT OF PART OF A 10' ALLEY ALONG THE WESTERLY (REAR) PROPERTY LINE OF \n \n 222 32ND STREET, 3111, 3103 AND 3021 3RD AVENUE AND ALONG THE EASTERLY (REAR) \n \n PROPERTY LINE OF 3000, 3018, 3020, 3022, 3100, 3102 AND 3110 2ND AVENUE AND 210 \n \n 32ND STREET IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CURRENT NUMBERING SYSTEM FOR COLUMBUS, \n \n GEORGIA...

All that tract or parcel of land known as a portion of Block 13 of the North

Highland Land Improvement and Manufacturing Company property and being more

particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point located at the intersection of the westerly right of way

line of 3rd Avenue, and the southerly right of way line of 32nd Street; thence

westerly along the southerly right of way line of 32nd street, a distance of

145' +/- to a point on the easterly line of said 10' +/- alley, for the

property herein described;

From the Point of Beginning,

Thence run in an southerly direction along said easterly line of the 10' +/-

alley 400' +/- to a point on the southerly property line of 3021 3rd Avenue;

Thence run in a westerly direction a distance of 10' +/- to a point on the

westerly line of said 10' +/- alley;

Thence run in a northerly direction along said westerly line of the 10' +/-

alley a distance of 400+/- feet to a point;

Thence run in an easterly direction 10' +/- to a point on the easterly line of

said 10' +/- alley and the westerly property line of 222 32nd Street.

Also providing that all existing utility easements of record remain in effect and providing appropriate width as required by the applicable utility companies will be required for unknown utilities, repealing any confliction ordinances, and for other purposes.
