Know all men by these presents, That in consideration of the sum of one and no/100 dollars to us in hand paid by Doctors Hospital the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, we do remise, release, quit claim and convey to the said Doctors Hospital all our right, title, interest and claim, in or to the following described land, to-wit: Part of Hamilton Road Right-of-Way 18th Street & Veterans Parkway .
All that tract or parcel of land formerly known as part of the Hamilton
Road right-of-way lying between Veterans Parkway and Eighteenth Street in
Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and being more particularly described as
follows:
Commence at a concrete monument marking the westerly end of a mitered
corner which forms the intersection of the westerly line of Fifth Avenue and
the southerly line of Eighteenth Street; thence South 85 degrees 18 minutes 11
seconds West, along the southerly line of Eighteenth Street, 96.64 feet to an
iron stake at the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence leaving Eighteenth Street, South
41 degrees 59 minutes 39 seconds West, 194.65 feet to an iron stake on the
easterly line of Veterans Parkway; thence North 04 degrees 09 minutes 18
seconds West, along the easterly line of Veterans Parkway, 133.53 feet to an
iron stake which marks the intersection of the easterly line of Veterans
Parkway and the southerly line of Eighteenth Street; thence North 85 degrees
18 minutes 11 seconds East, along the southerly line of Eighteenth Street,
140.38 feet to an iron stake at the point of beginning; containing 0.215 acres.
Also providing that all existing utility easements of record remain in effect and providing appropriate width as required by the applicable utility companies will be required for unknown utilities, repealing any confliction ordinances, and for other purposes.
