-
Background
-
Section 18A-33b establishes a minimum pavement width of 31 feet back to back of
curb for local streets with curb and gutter. Brian Grier, Inc. has requested a
variance from the standard width for Whitesville Walk which consists of 29 lots
and is limited to a single cul-de-sac street.
-
Analysis
-
Brian Grier, Inc. feels that the street configuration will best foster the
small town character and sense of neighborhood for the development. The
Departments of Engineering and Community & Economic Development have reviewed
this variance and feel it be granted due to the size of the proposed section
and limited traffic.
