Authorize the City Manager to execute a Quit Claim Deed to Lake Bottom \n \n Properties, LLC for easements to the property locate at 2006 and 2010 Newton \n \n Street (Parcel 1517) both owned by Lake Bottom Properties, LLC and near the \n \n corner of Veterans Parkway (see attached map).

Background
Lake Bottom Properties, LLC is requesting that the City execute a Quit Claim

Deed for all rights, title and interest the City may have in the easements to

the property at 2006 and 2010 Newton Street (Parcel 1517) and near the corner

of Veterans Parkway to allow for full potential develoment of the properties.
Analysis
The Engineering Department has examined the properties and has no objection to

abandoning a portion of the easements. Written confirmation has been received

from all public utilities stating there are no active utilities located on said

easements. A building will be constructed on said properties with all offsite

water that flows into the drainage structures remaining in place and with a

Slope Easement near Veterans Parkway showing the Right-of-Way on the DOT?s

construction plans, that could not be relinquished (see attached map).
