Background
-
Lake Bottom Properties, LLC is requesting that the City execute a Quit Claim
Deed for all rights, title and interest the City may have in the easements to
the property at 2006 and 2010 Newton Street (Parcel 1517) and near the corner
of Veterans Parkway to allow for full potential develoment of the properties.
-
Analysis
-
The Engineering Department has examined the properties and has no objection to
abandoning a portion of the easements. Written confirmation has been received
from all public utilities stating there are no active utilities located on said
easements. A building will be constructed on said properties with all offsite
water that flows into the drainage structures remaining in place and with a
Slope Easement near Veterans Parkway showing the Right-of-Way on the DOT?s
construction plans, that could not be relinquished (see attached map).
