Phase 5, Garrett Creek Subdivision, currently consists of 14 residential

lots. The streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for

acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been submitted conveying to the City Highlands Drive, Meadow Valley

Court and Woodland Ridge Drive located in Phase 5, Garrett Creek Subdivision.

Description of the property is as follows: All of those lots, tracts and

parcels of land lying and being in Land Lot 160 of the 9th District, Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as all of Highlands Drive, Meadow Valley

Court and Woodland Ridge Drive as said roads and rights-of-way are shown on the

map or plan entitled "Garrett Creek Subdivision, Phase V, lying in Land Lot

160, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by Thomas L.

French, Jr., dated October 1, 2001, said plat recorded in Plat Book 145, Page

40, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County,

Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written Resolution of Council.

Approve the Resolution accepting the deed to Highlands Drive, Meadow Valley

Court and Woodland Ridge Drive located in Phase 5, Garrett Creek Subdivision.
