Background
Sonoma Pointe Drive located in Section One, Sonoma Pointe Subdivision, has

eighteen residential lots. The street has been improved and meets required

specifications for acceptance by the City
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Sonoma Pointe Drive located in

Section One, Sonoma Pointe Subdivision. A description of the property is as

follows: All those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in Land

Lot 31 of the 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as

all of Sonoma Pointe Drive as said road and rights-of-way are shown on the map

or plat entitled "Addition to Section One, Sonoma Pointe Subdivision, Lying in

Land Lot 31, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by

Hobbs Smith & Associates, Inc., dated December 29th, 2003, said revised plat

recorded in Plat Book 150, page 105, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior

Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council
