Background
Crosswinds Drive and that portion of Windward Drive in Section One, Crosswinds

Subdivsion has sixteen residential lots. The streets have been improved and

meets the required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Crosswinds Drive and that

portion of Windward Drive in Section One, Crosswinds Subdivision. A

description of the property is as follows: All those lots, tracts and parcels

of land lying and being in Land Lots 40 & 41 of the 18th District, Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as all of Crosswinds Drive, and that

portion of Windward Drive lying in Section One of Crosswinds Subdivision, as

said roads and right-of-way is shown on the map or plat entitled "SECTION ONE,

CROSSWINDS Lying in Land Lots 40 & 41, 18th District, Columbus, Muscogee,

Georgia" prepared by Hobbs Smith & Assoc., Inc., dated June 4, 2003, said

recorded in Plat Book 149, page 75, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior

Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Crosswinds Drive and that portion of

Windward Drive in Section One, Crosswinds Subdivsion.
