Approve the acceptance of the deed to the cul-de-sac at the end of Bradley Lake \n \n Boulevard adjacent to Tract I, Phase One, Brookstone Centre.

Background
This cul-de-sac, which will be at the end of Bradley Lake Boulevard, consists

of 0.186 acres and is located adjacent to Tract I, Phase One, Brookstone

Centre. Acceptance of this cul-de-sac will enable further development in this

area. In order to expedite development on an adjacent parcel and prevent

damage during construction, the cul-de-sac has not been constructed. The

cul-de-sac will be constructed during or after the development of the adjacent

lot.
Analysis
A performance bond has been submitted guaranteeing the construction of the

cul-de-sac. A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying the cul-de-sac

located at the end of Bradley Lake Boulevard adjacent to Tract I, Phase One,

Brookstone Centre. All those tracts and parcels of land situate, lying and

being in the State of Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and

being shown and designated as 0.186 acres on that certain map or plat entitled

"Part of Tract I, Phase One, Brookstone Centre and Adjacent Tract, Lying in

Land Lots 64, 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by

Moon, Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc., under date of March 26, 2003, a copy of

which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A", to which plat reference is hereby made

for more specific dimensions, as the following herein described streets,

to-wit: All of the cul-de-sac shown highlighted in "Yellow" on the attached

Exhibit, being adjacent to said Bradley Lake Boulevard, all as shown on said

plat.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the acceptance of the deed to the cul-de-sac at the end of Bradley

Boulevard adjacent to Tract I, Section One, Brookstone Centre.
