Section Three, Spring Ridge Subdivision, has eighteen residential lots. The
street has been improved and meets the required specifications for acceptance
by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Aaron Lane and Aaron Drive
located in Section Three, Spring Ridge Subdivision. "All those tracts and
parcels of land situate, lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia,
and comprising of Aaron Lane, and a portion of Aaron Drive from the existing
right of way in that certain subdivision known as Section Three, Spring Ridge
Subdivision, as said streets and portion of said streets are shown upon a map
or plat of said subdivision recorded in Plat Book 148, Page 49 in the Office of
the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, and to which map
or plat reference is hereby made for a more particular description of the
streets are hereby conveyed."

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.

A RESOLUTION
NO. ________
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO AARON LANE AND AARON DRIVE
LOCATED IN SECTION THREE, SPRING RIDGE SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying to Columbus,
Georgia, Aaron Lane and Aaron Drive located in Section Three, Spring Ridge
Subdivision; and,
WHEREAS, said streets have been improved and meet the required specifications
for acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of Columbus, Georgia has inspected said
streets for acceptance by the City and recommends acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That certain deed dated the 14th day of February 2003, conveying to
Columbus, Georgia all of Aaron Lane and Aaron Drive located in Section Three,
Spring Ridge Subdivision be and the same is hereby accepted. The Clerk of
Council is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded in the deed records in
the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia. A
copy of said deed is hereto attached and by this reference made a part of this
Resolution.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held
the 11th day of March 2003, and adopted at said meeting by the
affirmative vote of members of said Council.
