Background

Silverado Drive, Santee Court, that portion of Sonoma Pointe Drive and that

portion of Sun Valley Drive located in Section Four, Sonoma Pointe has

Seventy-six residential lots. The streets have been improved and met the

required specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Silverado Drive, Santee Court,

that portion of Sonoma Pointe Drive and that portion of Sun Valley Drive

located in Section Four, Sonoma Pointe. A description of the property is as

follows: All those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in Land

Lot 31 of the 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as

Extension of Sonoma Pointe Drive, Extension of Sun Valley Drive, Silverado

Drive and Santee Court as said roads and right-of-ways are shown on map or plat

entitled "Section Four, Sonoma Pointe, Lying in Land Lot 31, 9th District,

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by Hobbs Smith & Associates,

Inc., dated September 28, 2005, said plat recorded in Plat Book 155, pages

104-106, in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County,

Georgia.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution by Council.
