Approve the attached Resolution to execute a Quit Claim Deed to Doctors \n \n Hospital for the tract or parcel of land formerly known as Part of Hamilton \n \n Road Right-of-Way on 18th Street and Veterans Parkway containing 0.215 +/- \n \n acres in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia (as identified in yellow on the \n \n attached plat), subject to existing easements.

Background
Said property was an exchange during the negotiations for property the City

needed from Doctors Hospital for the 5th Avenue road widening project.
Analysis
Said property serves no purpose since the old 5th Avenue has been abandoned

because of the Veteran Parkway Project intersecting with 18th Street. The

property consists of 0.215 +/- acres and is not needed for City purposes.
