Background
The extension of Commercial Court located in Parts of Tract Three, Section One,

Veterans Parkway West, has two commercial lots. The streets have been improved

and meet required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying the Extension of Commercial

Court located in Parts of Tract Three, Section One, Veterans Parkway West. A

description of the property is as follows: All that lot, tract or parcel of

land situate, lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, designated

as "Parcel "B", 0.359 AC.", and being an extension of Commercial Court, as

shown upon a map or plat entitled "Rights-of-Way Plat, Parts of Tract Three,

Section One, Veterans Pkwy West, and Adjoining Street, Lying in Land Lot 41,

8th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, prepared by Moon, Meeks,

Mason & Vinson, Inc., dated March 24, 2004, and recorded in Plat Book 151,

Folio 76, in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County,

Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to the Extension of Commercial Court

located in Parts of Tract Three, Section One, Veterans Parkway West.
