Background

Upatoi Ridge located in Upatoi Ridge Subdivision, has thirteen residential

lots. The street has been improved and meets required specifications for

acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Upatoi Ridge located in Upatoi

Ridge Subdivision. A description of the property is as follows: All those

lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in Land Lot 258, of the 10th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia , and shown as all of Upatoi Ridge

as said road and public right-of-way is shown on the map or plat entitled "

Upatoi Ridge, Lying in Land Lot 258, 10th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia", prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc., dated August 20, 2004,

said plat recorded in Plat Book 152, pages 94 & 95, in the Office of the Clerk

of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Upatoi Ridge located in Upatoi Ridge

Subdivision.
