Background
Section Two, Mitchell Ridge, currently consists of 18 residential lots. The

streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance

by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been submitted conveying to the City Mitchell Ridge Drive and

Mitchell Ridge Place located in Section Two, Mitchell Ridge. Description of

the property is as follows: All those lots, tracts, and parcels of land lying

and being in Land Lot 55 of the 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia, and shown as all of Mitchell Ridge Drive and Mitchell Ridge Place as

said roads and rights-of -way are shown on the map or plat entitled "Section

Two, Mitchell Ridge, Lying in Land Lot 55, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee

County,Georgia", prepared by Hobbs Smith & Associates, Inc., dated November 12,

2001, said plat recorded in Plat Book 145, Page 42, in the Office of the Clerk

of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written Resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting the deed to Mitchell Ridge Drive and Mitchell

Ridge Place located in Section Two, Mitchell Ridge.
