Background

Resolution No. 456-03, dated September 30, 2003, approved a Quit Claim for

acceleration and deceleration lanes to the Department of Transportation. The

beginning of Turnberry Lanes was not depicted on plat referred in said

Resolution. The Department of Transportation has requested that part of

Turnberry Lane to be Quit Claimed to them.

Analysis

The Department of Transportation made this request because Veterans Parkway is

a State Highway.

The Mayor of Columbus, Georgia is hereby authorized to execute a Quit Claim
