Background
Phase One, Cedar Pointe Subdivision, currently consists of ten residential

lots. The street has been improved and meets the required specifications for

acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been submitted conveying to the City Bentley Drive, located in Phase

One, Cedar Pointe Subdivision. Description of the property is as follows:

"All that tract of land situate, lying and being in Land Lots 255 and 258, 17th

District of Muscogee County, more particularly described as follows: All of

Bentley Drive in Phase One, Cedar Pointe Subdivision as said road is shown on

the map or plat entitled "Phase One, Cedar Pointe", prepared by William A.

White, dated May 17, 2001, and recorded in Plat Book 144 at Page 23, in the

Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, and to

which map or plat reference is hereby made for a more particular description of

the street hereby conveyed."
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Bentley Drive located in Phase One,

Cedar Pointe Subdivision.
