Vernonburg Drive located in Section Eight of Chatham Woods subdivision has

fourteen residential lots.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Vernonburg Drive located in

Section Eight of Chatham Woods Subdivision. A description of the property is

as follows: "All that tract of land situate, lying and being in Land Lots 8 and

25, 9th District, Muscogee County, Georgia, more particularly described as

follows: (A) All of Vernonburg Drive in Chatham Woods Subdivision - Section

Eight as shown on the plat referenced below; The above described road is shown

on the map or plat entitled "Section Eight, Chatham Woods, lying in Land Lots 8

& 25, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia" , prepared by Moon,

Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc., dated August 8, 2003, and recorded in Plat Book

143, Folios 92 and 93, in the public records of Muscogee County, Georgia".

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
