Section Five, Timber Creek, currently consists of 16 residential lots. The

street has been improved and meets the required specifications for acceptance

by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been submitted conveying to the City of Columbus the extension of

Timber Creek Way located in Section Five, Timber Creek. Description of the

property is as follows: All of the extension of Timber Creek Way lying in

Section Five, Timber Creek, as shown on the map or plat entitled "Section Five,

Timber Creek, Lying in Land Lot 273, 19th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia", prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc., dated October 26,

2001, and recorded in Plat Book 144, Folio 119, in the deed records of the

Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written Resolution by Council.

Approve the Resolution accepting the deed to the extension of Timber Creek Way
