Background
Section Seventeen, Sweetwater Village Subdivision, has 30 residential lots.

The street has been improved and meets the required specifications for

acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Bayberry Drive, Spurlin Court

and Avis Court located in Section Seventeen, Sweetwater Village Subdivision.

All those tracts and parcels of land situate, lying and being in Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia, and comprising of a portion of Bayberry Drive from

Buena Vista Road to the existing right of way, a portion of Avis Court and a

portion of Spurlin Court in that certain subdivision known as Section

Seventeen, Sweetwater Village, as said portions of said streets are shown upon

a map or plat of said subdivision recorded in Plat Book 148, Folio 41 & 42 in

the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, and

to which map or plat reference is hereby made for a more particular description

of the streets hereby conveyed.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting the deed to Bayberry Drive, Spurlin Court and

Avis Court located in Section Seventeen, Sweetwater Village Subdivision.
