Background
Adams Properties of Columbus, Inc. is requesting that the City execute a Quit

Claim Deed to them for all rights, title and interest the City may have in a

.090 acre parcel identified as "Parcel A" on that certain plat entitled

"Rights-of-Way Plat, Parts of Tract Tree, Section One, Veterans Pkwy West and

Adjoining Street, Lying in Land Lot 43, 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee

County, Georgia", prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc., dated March

24, 2004 and recorded in Plat Book 151, Folio 76, in the Office of the Clerk of

Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Analysis
Parcel A in Commercial Court was originally part of a permanent cul-de-sac.

Once Commercial Court was extended, the City had no further use for this

parcel. An easement will be provided for all existing and unknown utilities.

The Engineering Department has no objection to the proposed Quit Claim.
