Background
Mrs. Frank Foley, Jr. owns a 67+ acre tract at the end of Williams Hill Road in

Green Island Hills. When the road was built in 1987 the cul-de-sac at the end

was built to city specifications but was not deeded to the City. Mrs. Foley

wishes to create a lot on the easterly side of the cul-de-sac. In order to do

this, this cul-de-sac must be deeded and accepted by the City to create

frontage for the proposed lot.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying the Cul-de-sac at the northern

terminus of Williams Hill Road 0.171 Ac, located in Green Island Hills. A

description of the property is as follows: All of the cul-de-sac at the

northern terminus of Williams Hill Road, containing 0.171 Ac, as shown on the

map or plat entitled "Survey of Part of Property of Mrs. Frank D Foley, Jr.,

lying in Land Lots 99 & 105, 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia".

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to the cul-de-sac at the northern

terminus of Williams Hill Road 00171 Ac, located in Green Island Hills.
