Approve the acceptance of a deed to that portion of Bentley Drive and Grand \n \n Lane, located in Phase Two, Cedar Pointe Subdivision.

Background
Phase Two, Cedar Pointe Subdivision, currently consists of forty-three

residential lots. The streets have been improved and meet the required

specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been submitted conveying to the City that portion of Bentley Drive

and Grand Lane located in Phase Two, Cedar Pointe Subdivision. Description of

the property is as follows: "All those tracts of land, lying and being in Part

of Land Lots 256, 257, and 258, 17th District, Muscogee County, Georgia, being

those certain roads and road rights of way and more particularly described as

follows as all of Bentley Drive and Grand Lane in Phase Two, Cedar Pointe

Subdivision, as said roads are shown on the map or plat entitled "Phase Two,

Cedar Pointe, prepared by William A. White, dated March 31, 2003, and recorded

in Plat Book 148, at Pages 116 through 118, in the public records of Muscogee

County, Georgia, and to which map or plat reference is hereby made for a more

particular description of the street hereby conveyed."
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that portion of Bentley Drive and

Grand Lane located in Phase Two, Cedar Pointe Subdivision.
