Lonesome Pine Drive, White Pine Drive, portion of Southlake Drive, portion of

Lonesome Pine Court, portion of Slash Pine Drive and a portion of Tall Pine

Court, located in Sections Three and Four, Garrett Pines has sixty residential

lots. The streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for

acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Lonesome Pine Drive, White Pine

Drive, portion of Southlake Drive, portion of Lonesome Pine Court, portion of

Slash Pine Drive and a portion of Tall Pine Court, located in Sections Three

and Four, Garrett Pines. A description of the property is as follows: All

those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in Land Lot 130 of the

9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as all of Lonesome

Pine Drive, White Pine Drive and extension of Southlake Drive, Lonesome Pine

Court, Slash Pine Drive and Tall Pine Court, lying in Sections Three and Four,

Garrett Pines prepared by Hobbs Smith & Assoc., Inc., dated January 3, 2005,

said recorded in Plat Book 153, page 61, in the Office of the Clerk of the

Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Lonesome Pine Drive, White Pine

Drive, portion of Southlake Drive, portion of Lonesome Pine Court, portion of

Slash Pine Drive and a portion of Tall Pine Court, located in Sections Three

and Four, Garrett Pines.
