Background
Section Six, Stone Creek Subdivision, has thirty residential lots. The streets

have been improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance by the

City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Stone Park Drive and Slippery

Rock Court located in Section Six, Stone Creek Subdivision. All those tracts

and parcels of land situate, lying and being in Land Lot 34, 9th District,

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and being certain roads and road

right-of-ways, more particularly described as follows: All of Stone Park Drive

and Slippery Rock Court, lying and being in Section Six, Stone Creek

Subdivision, shown on the plat referenced below: The above described roads and

right-of-ways are shown on the map or plat entitled "Section Six, Stone Creek

Subdivision, lying in Land Lot 34, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia" dated March 10, 2003, made by Hobbs, Smith and Associates, Inc. and

recorded in Plat Book 148, Pages 75 & 76, in the Office of the Clerk of

Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia and to which map or plat reference

is hereby made for a more particular description of the streets hereby

conveyed.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-way must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting the deed to Stone Park Drive and Slippery Rock

Court located in Section Six, Stone Creek Subdivision.
