Wellington Court, Wellington Trace, Carrington Trail, that portion of

Carrington Court and that portion of Wellington Way located in Phase One,

Wellington Pointe has thirty-eight residential lots. The streets have been

improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Wellington Court, Wellington

Trace, Carrington Trail, that portion of Carrington Court and that portion of

Wellington Way located in Phase One, Wellington Pointe. A description of the

property is as follows: All those tracts or parcels of land situate, lying and

being in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and comprising all of Carrington

Court, Carrington Trail, Wellington Court, Wellington Trace and Wellington Way

as said streets are shown upon that certain map or plat entitled "Phase One,

Wellington Pointe, Part of Land Lots 47 and 48, 18th District, Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia" prepared by William A. White, Surveyor, dated March

9, 2005 and recorded in Plat Book 154, pages 19-21 in the office of the Clerk

of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

Financial Considerations

No City Funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.

Recommendations/ Actions

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Wellington Court, Wellington Trace,

Carrington Trail, that portion of Carrington Court and that portion of

Wellington Way located in Phase One, Wellington Pointe.
