Section Fifteen, Sweetwater Village, currently consists of five residential
lots. The street has been improved and meets the required specifications for
acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been submitted conveying to the City Perdue Lane, located in Section
Fifteen, Sweetwater Village. Description of the property is as follows: "All
that tract and parcel of land situate, lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee
County, Georgia, and comprising of that portion of Section Fifteen, Sweetwater
Village, from the existing right of way of Perdue Lane in that certain
subdivision known as Section Fifteen, Sweetwater Village, as said portion of
said street is shown upon a map or plat of said subdivision recorded in Plat
Book 146, folio 44 & 45 in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of
Muscogee County, Georgia, and to which map or plat reference is hereby made for
a more particular description of the street hereby conveyed."

A RESOLUTION
NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO PERDUE LANE LOCATED IN
SECTION FIFTEEN, SWEETWATER VILLAGE ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA.
WHEREAS, a deed has been conveyed to Columbus, Georgia, Perdue Lane located in
Section Fifteen Sweetwater Village, a full description of said property being
shown in said deed; and,
WHEREAS, said street has been improved and meets the required specifications
for acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of Columbus, Georgia has inspected said
street and recommends acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That certain deed dated the 24th day of May 2002, conveying to Columbus,
Georgia, all of Perdue Lane located in Section Fifteen, Sweetwater Village, be
and the same is hereby accepted. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to
have said deed recorded in the deed records in the Office of the Clerk of the
Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia. A copy of said deed is hereto
attached and by this reference made a part of this Resolution.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held
the
4th day of June, 2002 , and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
members of said Council.
