Authorize the City Manager to enter into a lease agreement with Main Street \n \n Baseball LLC (The Columbus Catfish) for the period of November 1, 2005 through \n \n September 30, 2008.

Background

The Columbus Catfish is a South Atlantic League baseball team that is currently

located in Golden Park. The current lease agreement expires October 31, 2005.

Main Street Baseball, LLC (The Columbus Catfish) desires to enter into a new

lease agreement with the City of Columbus.

Analysis

Financial Considerations

Main Street Baseball, LLC (The Columbus Catfish) will pay the sum of $4000.00

rent per month to the City of Columbus. Other financial considerations are

included in the contract.

Council is the approving authority for all contracts.
