Background
That Portion of SteeleCreek Drive and That Portion SteeleCreek Court located in

Section One, SteeleCreek Subdivision has four residential lots. The streets

have been improved and met the required specifications for acceptance by the

City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of SteeleCreek

Drive and that portion of SteeleCreek Court located in Section One, SteeleCreek

Subdivision. A description of the property is as follows: All those tracts

and parcels of land situate, lying and being in the State of Georgia, County of

Muscogee, and City of Columbus, and being known and designated as that portion

of SteeleCreek Drive, and that portion of SteeleCreek Court shown on that

certain map or plat entitled "Section One, SteeleCreek, part of Land Lot 33,

18th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and Part of Land Lots 63 & 64

18th District Harris County, Georgia" dated November 9, 2004 made by Moon,

Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc., and recorded in Plat Book 153, Folio 27 & 28, of

the records in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee

County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that portion of SteeleCreek Drive

and that portion of SteeleCreek Court located in Section One, SteeleCreek

Subdivision.
